The Story Trove
Every week I will post a story challenge – a picture or sentence (both if you’re lucky) to kickstart a story. Each one will include my own micro-fiction (50-100 words) attempt to answer the challenge.
Please feel free to post your own versions in the comments. After all, the true magic of stories is in the sharing.
Rules:
- Keep it short: This is supposed to be micro-fiction. Half the art of story-telling is staying on point.
- Anything goes: Don’t be limited by my own version. Feel free to riff on it if you like, but going your own way could be even better. Go wild. Your imagination is the limit.
- Keep it clean: I’m a children’s author, so I hope that children read and enjoy these pages. So let’s all keep it kid-friendly.
